Program is four days and three nights. Webelos Scouts only will learn to live in the rugged outdoors of Camp Freeland Leslie. Scouts will swim and boat in beautiful Lake Emmerick, hike, and learn about the world around them in preparation for Boy Scouts. Adult ratio is one for every three campers; each boy needs to be responsible to a specific adult (two-deep leadership is required).
Please arrive no earlier than 3:00 p.m. on first day of session.
Most meals will be served by staff in the dining area (special dietary requirements should be noted on the application and at check-in). Meals will be served starting with supper on the first day through breakfast on the final day of the session.
Departure should be no later than noon on the closing day to allow for the next session.
Camp will take place rain or shine, so remember to dress accordingly. This is a remote location, some distance from home, so trips home for additional gear are not practical.
